Sourcing of Raw Materials

We know well what we want and what are we going to use for our product(s), but that is all in paper, yet, and the next agenda in line would be, where to find it?

As a decades-long market player with network of a wide range of raw material suppliers local and abroad, we can help with the sourcing of materials.

Packaging Materials Supply & Design/Printing

No product is perfect without a good packaging. By good, the packaging has to be appealing, cost-efficient, suitable for storage and transportation, and compliant with national laws and regulations.

From the design to the source of packaging materials to the text and pictorial contents on the packaging, we are able to help, not exactly from an aesthetic point of view, but more on a compliant and functional point of view.

NPRA Product Registration & Documentation

Every product, if categorised under a drug or traditional medicine or health supplement, shall be registered with the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency, failing which it is illegal to manufacture or distribute.

We have been complying and assisting our clients to comply with applicable laws and regulations for more than quarter of a century. We’ll advise you on the dos and don’ts, and we’ll help you with the procedures and documentation to get your product registered.

Even where a product might not be categorised under products where registration is mandatory, we can help you to seek classification with the authorities for the product to classified as “food”. Just to be safe.

Manufacturing

White Heron Pharmaceutical channels our resources and manpower extensively to our manufacturing, quality assurance/control and research departments.

We maintain four segregated and GMP grade production zones for the manufacturing of traditional medicine, OTC health supplements, health & functional food and cosmetics products.

Our production zones are equipped with advanced machinery and facilities capable of meeting production needs for delicate and sensitive products as well as for bulk and volumed products.

Over years, we have manufactured thousands and thousands of products and are seasoned in the manufacturing of all sorts of hard shell capsules, soft gel capsules, tablets, tea, instant beverages, liquid, extracts, essential oils, concentrate, paste, granules and pills.

All manufacturing processes are been closely monitored against by our dedicated team of quality control personnel, who work independently and professionally to ensure each and every step of the processes are being carried out in full adherence to our quality standards.

Halal Certification

Malaysia’s HALAL standards as defined and certified by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) is a prestigious set of standards in the Islamic world. It is also a pivotal certification to market medicinal and health supplement products in Malaysia, Indonesia and the middle east.

Maybe less beknown to the public, HALAL isn’t all only about the types of ingredients. Particular emphasis is also placed on the hygiene and cleanliness of production areas and the methods of work.

At White Heron Pharmaceutical, our internal HALAL committee oversees all purchasing, production, storage and quality control processes and ensures that the principles and protocols of HALAL are being implanted in its entirety. Your product is HALAL, with us.

Packing & Repacking

Importers of foreign products sometimes require repackaging. Sometimes, to serve marketing purposes repackaging is also necessary.

At White Heron Pharmaceutical, we have a seasoned team of packers motivated by a piece-rate reward system and assisted by automated machinery.

Export Documentation

In the era of globalisation, barriers of trade are ever diminishing and more and more products find their way from manufacturing hubs to cross borders into other parts of the world.

If you are in the export business, we can do our part in supporting you with the necessary documents including but not limited to Certificate of Free Sale/Pharmaceutical Product, notarised and legalised documents, Certificate of Analysis, product specification, stability study reports and halal certificate.

Crude Herbs Processing

With our own processing center, in one way we ensure the process of processing crude herbs into extracts, concentrate, fine powder or tea is well-controlled with no chance of contamination. Also, we get to QC our materials in their original unprocessed form, where we can be sure that they are in good quality.

Lab Tests and Nutritional Analysis

Supported by our in-house laboratory equipped with advanced facilities, we are capable of implementing in full force our stringent quality control measures toward incoming materials, work in progress materials and finished goods, and also against our machinery, equipment, facilities and personnel.

We are also capable in conducting and providing laboratory tests such as AAS, Microbial, Assays, stability tests and nutritional analysis accommodating to your compliance needs.

TCM and Product Consultation

With our in-house R&D team consisting of TCM medical practitioners and food science experts supported by friendly universities and visiting researchers, we are well-competent in giving professional opinions and write-ups on matters of TCM and on our products.
